Labor Union Negotiatorfor Government Bureaucrats Employees’ Union
Margy O’Herron, a dedicated liberal activist, spent her free time during the 2020 election campaigning for left-wing candidates. On Facebook, under the name “Em Amaro,” she commented on a post that she was "honored" to be part of those "Saving America" after the 2020 election, after being tagged by far-left activist, Jull Ortman-Fouse, saying “I am honored to be on this list, Jill! It has been incredibly heartwarming to see so many people pull together”:
In 1998, Margy O’Herron was an attorney for the Board of Immigration Appeals of the DOJ’s Executive Office of Immigration Review. At this time, O’Herron also served as chief negotiator for the American Federation of Government Employees, Local 3525, AFL-CIO during a labor negotiation that advocated for allowing highly paid government attorneys to work from home under a “flexiplace” arrangement, according to a Federal Labor Relations Authority memo:
“I credit the testimony of Margaret O'Herron, BIA attorney and chief negotiator for the Union, Thomas Ragland, BIA attorney, and Maureen Dunn, BIA attorney, to the effect that it was general knowledge in the office that some employees were working flexiplace. According to Mr. Ragland, employees also regularly received notices from the Attorney General encouraging divisions to help employees have an improved work life and home life by using flexible workplace opportunities, where possible, including flexiplace.”
“Margaret O'Herron, chief negotiator for the Union, testified in explanation of this statement. She said that, although the Office of Personnel Management and the Department of Justice had guidelines on flexiplace, there was "no known Board policy" which set criteria or standards when considering requests for flexiplace, and the practice was "inconsistent" in that employees working under a flexiplace arrangement were given a variety of limitations in terms of hours of work, days in the office, or required medical documentation to support their requests. She testified that the Union's proposal made clear that the Union wanted a uniform, consistent, and objective policy.”

Not only is Margy O’Herron ideologically pre-disposed to supporting loose immigration enforcement, she is also such a dedicated government bureaucrat that she served as chief negotiator for the government bureaucrats’ employees union, to allow those same highly paid bureaucrats to obtain overly generous work-from-home arrangements.
